Programmes Conducted 

1. On 23^rd April 2010, department of Computer Science & Engineering has proposed to conduct one day national level seminar on “Recent Trends in Mobile Computing”. The eminent academicians from the reputed institutions are invited to deliver lecture on the recent trends and development in the field of mobile computing.

1. Mrs. J.H. Jaseema Yasmin and Mrs. M.Deepa have attended a Faculty Development Programme on “Fuzzy Logic and Neural Networks” organized by the EEE department of our college.
2. Mrs. M. Deepa and Ms.Jeenath Kamila have attended a workshop organized by Velammal College of Engineering, Madurai.
3. Ms. Rose Santhiyagu Mary and Ms.S.Mariam Dhujana have attended a Seminar organized by National Engineering College, kovilpatti.
4. Mrs. I. Vallirathi has attended a Seminar organized at Francis Xavier Engineering College, Tirunelveli.

Symposium / Conference conducted 

1. On 22nd October 2009, an Intra department Technical Symposium (IDTS ’09) was organized for the benefit of the students to improve their technical skills.
2. The CSI (Computer Society of India) Student Branch was inaugurated on 10th August 2009. Dr. M.A. Maluk Mohamed, Principal, M.A.M College of Engineering, Trichy, was a Chief Guest and delivered the Inaugural address. The event was impressive by his inspiring seminar on the topic “Mobile Computing”.

2. Mrs. R. Uma Maheswari presented a paper “Fingerprint enhancement and detection of true minutae” at a conference on Advanced Computing in Communication & Information Technology organized at PSN College of Engineering and Technology on October 2009.
3. Mrs. L.K. Indumathi presented a paper “Face detection based on skin color model using Neural Networks” at a conference on Data Mining & Image processing organized at SCAD College of Engineering on February 2010.
4. Mrs. Thiruselvi and Ms.Krishna Gokila have attended the conference held at Mepco Schlenk Engineering College February 2010.

6. S.Abbas, IV CSE A presented a paper on “Embedded System Veichip”, in the Symposium organized by the Department of ECE at K.L.N. College of Information Technology on 10th September 2009.

Higher Education pursuing / completed 

1. Mrs. J.H .Jaseema Yasmin, Associate Professor/CSE is doing her doctorate in Periyar Maniammai University, Vallam.
2. Three faculty members namely, Mr.Abdul Rahman@R.K.Dinesh Prabu, Mrs.B.Uma Maheswari, and Ms.S.Krishna Gohila Devi are doing their M.Tech. Degree in Manonmaniam Sundaranar University.
3. Seven faculty members namely, Mrs.M.Deepa, Mrs.I.Vallirathi, Ms.S.Mariam Dhujana, Mrs.M.Yasmin, Ms.Rose Santhiyagu Mary, Ms.S.K.Sujitha, and  Ms.N.Sakthi Devi are doing their M.E. Degree in Manonmaniam Sundaranar University.

1. S.Abbas and A.Jameel Ahmed of IV CSE A won the overall championship shield for our college at the symposium held at Kamaraj College of Engineering and Technology, Virudhunagar on 30^th September 2009.
2. S.Abbas and A.Jameel Ahmed, secured the Second prize in paper presentation titled “Embedded Webserver” held at Government College of Technology, Coimbatore on 18th and 19th February 2010 organized by department of ECE.
3. S.Abbas and A.Jameel Ahmed of IV CSE A won the First prize in Quiz held at Kamaraj College of Engineering and Technology, Virudhunagar on 30^th September 2009.
4. S.Abbas of IV CSE A won the Second prize in Puzzle solving held at Kamaraj College of Engineering and Technology, Virudhunagar on 30^th September 2009.
