Engineering Practices Lab

Objective: To provide exposure to the students with hands on experience on various basic engineering practices in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.

Circuits Laboratory

Objective: To expose the students to the  electrical circuits and give them experimental skill. It enables the students to gain sufficient knowledge on the programming and simulation of Electrical circuits.

Electronic Devices And Circuits Laboratory

Objective: To understand the concepts, working and characteristics of Different Diodes, BJT and FET Transistors, amplifiers and compensation techniques of transistors.

Measurements And Instrumentation Lab

Objective: Apply the engineering fundamental knowledge to identify, formulate, design and investigate complex engineering problems of electric circuits, power electronics, electrical machines and power systems.

Electrical Machines 1

Objectives: To expose the students to the operation of D.C. machines and transformers and give them experimental skill. It also aims to understand the generation of D.C. voltages by using different type of generators and study their performance.

Electrical Machines 2 Lab

Objective: To conduct load test on single phase and three phase induction motor and to conduct test on induction motor and synchronous motor to determine the performance characteristics.

Control System Lab

Objective: To analyze toque-speed characteristics of DC and AC servomotors, effect of P, PI, PD and PID controllers on a control system and to design Lag, Lead, Lead-Lag compensators and verify experimental results using MATLAB.

Measurements And Instrumentation Lab

Objective: Apply the engineering fundamental knowledge to identify, formulate, design and investigate complex engineering problems of electric circuits, power electronics, electrical machines and power systems.

Power Electronics Lab

Objective: To simulate and design various gate firing circuits and to familiarize the students by introducing software like P- sim, Multisim and help them to simulate different converters.

Power System Simulation Laboratory

Objective: To provide better understanding of power system analysis through digital simulation and to understand the concept of MATLAB programming in solving power systems problems.

Renewable Energy Systems Laboratory

Objective: To train the students in Renewable Energy Sources and technologies and to provide adequate inputs on a variety of issues in harnessing Renewable Energy.
